My foundation in art and design began long before the digital age transformed the creative process.

 

I earned my degree in design from a fine arts program where we created by hand—drawing layouts, working with brushes and ink, and mixing colors ourselves. While today’s design world often relies on templates and crowdsourced solutions, the timeless principles of composition, balance, color, and form remain at the heart of everything I create.

As an artist, I express my creativity through photography and painting, often blending the two to create distinctive, one-of-a-kind wall art. I am especially drawn to the illusion of depth in landscapes and strive to create work that invites viewers to pause and take a closer look.

My process begins with photographic imagery printed on canvas, which I transform through layers of hand-painted detail. Using acrylic paint and oil pastels, I add texture, depth, and dimension—enhancing focal points, softening backgrounds, and bringing each piece to life in a unique and personal way.
